mailFactory Workplace

mailFactory Workplace is a software component for work stations that makes it possible to process single mail pieces by hand. By scanning its barcode, an operator can record a mail piece after a job has undergone processing, or change the mail piece's processing status, causing the data saved about it to be updated automatically.

By the same token, mailFactory Workplace enables the rapid capture of mail pieces comprising small or special jobs not processed by a document inserting system. Thus it closes the gap between automatically and manually processed jobs.

mailFactory Workplace also allows an operator to terminate jobs and to request reprints. This component thus provides opportunities within the production process for manual interventions and checks.
